Prison Survival: Architect of Crime Simulator drops you behind bars—but this time, you’re the inmate, not the guard. It flips the script on its predecessor by inviting you into a gritty, semi-open prison world, where survival hinges on smarts, stealth, and street savvy.
You crawl through pipes, hike up vents, and use parkour to navigate Restricted Areas—every corner could trigger guards or cameras. The gameplay revolves around smuggling contraband, crafting and trading drugs, striking deals with guards or gangs, and hustling your way through prison life.
The devs are shaping the game through regular updates, from art style shifts inspired by Sifu and Road 96 to immersive cell layouts and hygiene systems.
That said, current playtest impressions are mixed. Some players criticized the parkour animations as “snappy and floaty,” and found the combat janky with poor hit feedback. Visuals feel too polished—some described the aesthetic as “cartoony” and lacking the gritty realism they hoped for.
Pros:
- High-stakes prison life from a fresh, inmate perspective
- Rich systems: crafting, trading, gang alliances, and hustle-based gameplay
- Active devlog updates show promising world-building and stylistic ambition
Cons:
- Playtest footage shows iffy animations and combat feel
- Current visuals are clean but lack gritty atmosphere
- Still early—content and polish clearly a work in progress
Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3 / 5)
