Arashi Gaiden Gameplay – Boss Battles, Teleport Combos & Final STAGES | Full Playthrough

Arashi Gaiden is a bold fusion of turn-based tactics and high-speed arcade action, set in a gorgeously animated pixel-art world. It takes place within the Pocket Bravery universe, but carves its own path as a standalone ninja odyssey.

You play as the deadly Arashi, moving across tight grid-based stages where every step matters. What makes this game shine is its fast-paced, combo-heavy system—letting you chain together blade strikes, teleport dashes, shurikens, and time-freezing attacks into beautiful, violent poetry. It’s not just about planning your turn; it’s about executing it with style.

The game constantly challenges you to master each level, encouraging experimentation and replayability. Every unlocked ability opens new ways to dominate the same stage, and getting a perfect run feels incredibly satisfying.

Visually, Arashi Gaiden is stunning. The hand-crafted pixel art bursts with color, impact frames, and gore. The audio design and fast transitions between turns help maintain momentum, even within the tactical format.

That said, it’s not without flaws. Some of the core mechanics—like turn order priority—can feel a bit unclear, and certain levels suffer from animation glitches or clunky movement. The campaign itself is short, clocking in at around 4–5 hours, but the tight design and score-chasing hooks help make up for it.

Pros:

  • Gorgeous pixel art with crunchy combat effects
  • Unique blend of tactics and ninja-style combo action
  • Satisfying replay value for high-score chasers
  • Creative tools like chain hooks, time-freeze, and teleports

Cons:
– Some mechanical ambiguity (enemy priority, movement)
– Minor bugs and janky animations
– Campaign is brief

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
