However, we actively moderate for safety and will take appropriate action against harmful behavior. If you see something offensive or inappropriate, please report it—we’ll handle it as quickly as possible.
📏 The Rules
❌ No Flaming, Trolling, or Spamming
Do not disrupt conversations with:
- Excessive use of all-caps, emojis, or random characters
- Flooding threads with repeated or nonsensical comments
- Derailing conversations intentionally
Violations may result in content removal or account suspension.
🚫 Avoid Sensitive or Polarizing Topics
Please do not create posts about divisive subjects such as:
- Politics, religion, or current global conflicts
- Race, gender identity, or sexuality in a derogatory context
GameCapsules is a space to celebrate creativity—not provoke debate.
🛡️ No Harassment, Abuse, or Personal Attacks
We have zero tolerance for:
- Threats, insults, or bullying
- Doxxing or sharing personal information (real names, addresses, emails, etc.)
- Hate speech or discrimination of any kind
Offenders will be banned without warning.
🎭 Don’t Impersonate Others or Staff
Do not pretend to be:
- Other users
- Moderators
- GameCapsules staff
If you’re offering help, be clear that you’re a fellow creator or user—not official support.
🚷 No Unsolicited Promotion or Spam
You may not:
- Post promotional links or ads in unrelated comment sections
- Spam links to outside stores or content
- Add “signatures” or repeated promo messages to your comments
Quality participation is the best promotion. Stay relevant to the conversation.
📄 Follow the GameCapsules Terms of Service
Everything in the community is also governed by the Terms of Service, including:
- Intellectual property guidelines
- Content standards
- Payment rules
Violating these terms may result in removal from the platform.
🧑⚖️ Community Moderators
Some creators may moderate their own product pages or storefront comment threads. As moderators, they can:
- Delete comments on their own pages
- Report abusive users
- Block commenters from their listings
Moderators must follow the same rules as everyone else. Abusing moderation privileges may lead to removal of those rights.
